leaparsons (3878), Leicester, Leicestershire, England May 11, 2006 Cask, Leicester Fest 06. Golden brown with a small head. Aromas are caramel malty with citrus and spices. Spicy, fresh hopping. Flavours are caramel malts with earthy hops. Has dry lemon with some acidicy. Mellow and pleasant. Not a bock, though. maeib (3917), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Mar 21, 2006 Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Leicester BF. Apparently this is based on a Bock, but we just didn’t agree. The beer is copper coloured with some sweetness in the otherwise thin aroma. The taste is sweet and malty with some noticeable alcohol. A little depth and quite reasonable but an ale not a bock.
