Cask, The Tap and Spile, Wolverhampton. Lovely green tropical mango/goooseberry jam aroma. Ripe and juicy hoppage, peanutty malt, oaty afters. Ends up stingingly dry but rouded out with jammy fruit. Very nice.

Half pint, gravicask. Copper body colour with a ring of white bubbles on the surface. Good laceworks. Medium floral nose. Lots of sweet, sappy fruits in flavour. Dry, light bitter finish (Afternoon session at London Drinker BF, 13.03.2008).

Cask conditioned at Coventry Beer Festival. Golden colour with whispy white head. This has a big farmyard eggy nose, phew, I thought someone had been indiscreet nearby. Once you get over the heavy Burtonisation, which incidentally is how Marstons Pedigree should be, this is a pleasant Best Bitter with a neat relenting biscuit malt and a good old fasioned English Bittering hop for a long bitter finish. Particulary good I would imagine, after a hard days waling on Kinver Edge which is terific if you are there.
