KyotoLefty (537), Kyoto, Japan Dec 21, 2008 2008 version.
Surprisingly aroma, lighter malt, citrus and pine. Rather light malt, cereals, bittering hops, Bitter finish with little malt flavor. Very light yellow color. Rather thin in malt. Decently bitter, but not much flavor at all. Better than their regular beers but too thin.
Gr0ve (1135), Oslo, Norway Sep 16, 2007 Yellowish golden. Crystal clear. Medium-sized fine-laced white head. Distinct sharp hop aroma. Slight metallic. Strong hop flavours with a citrus-like edge. Notes rubber. Surprisingly malty. Medium-bodied. Harsh hop bitterness. Feels a little off as there are some sherry-like flavours. KnutAlbert (2583), Oslo, Norway Sep 14, 2007 Can, thanks to larsga.
Rather medical flavour in this, nothing else to make it stand out either. larsga (2480), Oslo, Norway Sep 8, 2007 Medium white head. Yellow body with light carbonation. Light harmonic malty fruity aroma with rubbery notes. Dry dense straw and malt aroma with powerful medicinal hoppy background. Dry medicinal hoppy aftertaste. Clean, clear mouthfeel. Quite interesting, and not at all bad. (0.35l can from a grocery store in Tokyo.) MartinT (4497), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Aug 2, 2007 My Bottom Line:
This eminently drinkable lager benefits from a firm wooden hop presence and crisp (although thin) maltiness to sway the macro drinker into downing something slightly different from what he’s used to.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam surrounds the pale blond.
-Lemony fruitiness tags along the mild cereal sweetness.
-The overall flavor profile is balanced.
-Pleasant carbonation cannot conceal the lack of maltiness.
