From the can. An all-malt beer made with only Japanese ingredients. Hmmm, is that supposed to make it better??? Sweet, fragrant aroma, very malty. Fruity, cherries with a sweet rich malt character. Rich, but a bit too sweet. Hops lacking. Nice enough, though, and a good break from “dry.” Better than your usual large-maker’s Japanese beer.

This premium lager pours a light gold color from a 12oz can. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, and cereal. Medium bodied lager. The malts are fruity, sweet with a noticeable amount of cereal. The hops are slightly spicy. Nice balance. No off flavors. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Another can from Garrett. Pours a light and clear gold with a small white head. The aroma is mostly corn and malt. The taste was a good surprise; a sweet and light malty body with some corn and grasses and perhaps some sweet candy thrown in. Smooth and not bad at all.

Canned. Golden lager. Some malty body, but rather watery and with a metallic finish. Not very premium if you ask me!
