jeremytoni (656), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Dec 16, 2008 From a can poured a clear golden colro with a good amount of head. Mild pilsner flavor with a lingering aftertaste.
KnutAlbert (2583), Oslo, Norway Sep 7, 2007 33 ml can. Strong malty smell. Peculiar hoppy taste, a whiff of euchalyptus. Quite bitter, OK finish. larsga (2480), Oslo, Norway Sep 6, 2007 Small white head quickly shrinks. Yellow body with light carbonation. Strange rubbery eucalyptus aroma with hoppy notes. Dry grassy hoppy malty taste with rubbery notes. Very straight pilsener taste. Clean, chalky mouthfeel. Dry grassy aftertaste. Nice! (0.35l can bought in some grocery store in Tokyo.) Gr0ve (1135), Oslo, Norway Sep 6, 2007 330 ml can. Light yellowish golden colour. Medium-sized white head that clings to the glass. Floral hop aroma. Crisp carbonation. Grainy flavours and a somewhat harsh hop flavour. Quite bitter for a pilsener. Long lasting dry hop bitterness. Light-bodied, but some rounded and sweet malts can be detected. Not you average pilsener, but overall not particularly good either. A bit rough. (Courtesy of larsga) DarkMagus (414), San Jose, California, USA Feb 9, 2007 In the absence of other options, this is an acceptable brew. Foamy white head atop a clear yellow body. Slightly hoppy aroma with traces of rice. The flavors are sweet, but balanced by a hoppy bitterness. The aftertaste is all rice. (And the ingredients on the label state that rice is used...) Not awful, certainly a good choice when your only options are Japanese macros... but can’t stand up to a true example of a Pilsener.
