Tall boy can. Grassy hops on the nose. flavor is watered down lager with a splash of hop flavor. Goes down easy with a slightly bitter finish. Not the best, and not the worst Japanese macro I’ve had.

Apr 27, 2009 Can. Hoppy grassy lightly bitter aroma. Clear bit thin golden colour, white medium head. Mild pleasantly soft bitter hoppy and grassy flavour. Bit thin but pleasant. Thanks Aya!

Apr 13, 2009 Pours a straw yellow color with a white head. Aroma is pilsner malts, some honey, and floral spicy hops. Flavor is pilsner malts, honey, and a strangely intense floral hop finish.

Apr 10, 2009 12 ounce can courtesy of Proteus93. Thanks! Pours a pale golden color with a medium fizzy head. Poor head retention and weak attempts at lacing. Aroma is a mess... grain, sweet malts, mustiness. Taste is very grain with subtle vegetal, green banana and rice. Sweet finish. Thin bodied. Very interesting and I actually find this a bit preferable than a lot of pale lagers as its more refreshing and more complex. That being said I am disinclined to try it again.

Feb 17, 2009 Found this one in Okinawa, I was excited about this one, "the sparkling hop" how nice sounding, how wonderful would it be to actually taste some hops since I’ve been stranded in the beer wasteland that is Okinawa, Japan for over a year.
Sadly, this did not live up to its proclaimed hoppy status. Pours out a very clear and bright yellow with a very white bubbly head. Aroma is fairly sweet at first with perhaps a hint of hop at the end. The flavor is very much the same, grainy sweetness up front, slight bittering at the end and finishes with the buzz of carbonation. Not bad but certainly not hoppy, minus a few points for false advertisment.
