Aug 16, 2008 From 33 cl can purchased at Daily Yamazaki in Akasaka. 220 Yen. Pour is dark brown/black. Big beige head. Aroma is cold coffee and watery chocolate. Flavor is roasted malts and weak coffee with some bitterness. Palate is watery but not a terrible beer.

Jun 4, 2008 Had this from a black can purchased from a 7-11 in Morioka, Japan. Opaque black with a bubbly, tan head. Held to the light, you could make out a golden colour on the edges. Subtle roasted aroma. Not as creamy mouthfeel as a nice Guinness, but taste was of a nice, malty roasted barley with a roasted coffee-like finish. Decent.

Mar 22, 2008 Canned. Much better than expected. Dark brown colour with a solid tan head. Lots of coffee and chocolate in the aroma. Creamy mouthfeel. Roasted flavour with some smoke in the finish. Fairly dry stout but maybe a slight burnt in the flavour.
