| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 30, 2009 Copper pour with decent white head. Wheat with a little fruit on the nose. Flavor has a little yeast, grain sweetness and a touch of lemon. Nice body and texture, with a clean finish. BelgianBeerGal (1327), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 7, 2009 Local bottle. Pours a hazy orange colour with a foamy white head and decent lacing. The aroma is a little off: smells like an everyday lager until right at the end where you get some wheat, esters and yeast. Once again the flavour is a little off missing some of those key hefe tastes. Certainly drinkable but not really true to style. hellbilly (1566), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA

hazy orange/golden brown pour with an inch and a half of off white head. it does deposit some webby lacing on the glass...
smells of dusty wheat, banana, copper and very soft cinnamon spiciness.
the flavor is a bit metallic.... actually, it’s very metallic with hints of lemon and wet burlap sack. the banana-ish aftertaste is the best attribute of this thing.
the medium body is quite smooth. there is some amount of creaminess which comes from the soft carbonation though it is lacking depth or character... 5/3/4/3/10/2.5 fakepurseninja (794), Washington, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 22, 2009 I held off drinking this until I came to my 666th rating hoping to sample something truly putrid in recognition of the infamous number of the late emperor Nero all the while anticipating, much like Rome, the brewery this came out of should be burned to the ground. After sampling the other three in the Costco pack I was more that a little disappointed how decent this beer was. Good grainy wheat malt backbone. Somewhat yeasty with some soft banana hints. I figured that this would be the worst of the bunch but now believe it should not be sold in the same package as the other Costco branded swill. Unibonger (72), Mount Shasta, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 18, 2009 Not a terrible beer but also nothing to write home about. The price and fact they are glass bottles makes the pack good.
Its got a decent aroma. Has almost a skunky smell to it but I don’t think thats the right word.
Pretty standard looking hefe. Hazy with loads of carbonation. Not much head retention.
Its a normal flavor with not many of the usual hefe hues. Suppose I’m a fan of the fruitier hefes.
Good overall mouthfeel and a damned good carbonation level.
Will definitely buy again in the future. As I said its a steal of a deal. BrewDad (2393), Olympia, Washington, USA

Appearance: Dark yellow in color, hazy with a thin head.
Flavor: Nice malt flavor then it was light after that.
Palate: Dry finish, with a Decent Mouthfeel.
Overall: Nothing over the top just something to wet the whistle.

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Apr 3, 2009 12oz bottle. Hazy gold with a creamy white head. Lightly yeasty and buttery aroma. The flavor has a touch of wheat, some funky yeasty stuff going on, and very light acidity. Decent carbonation for style, but on the thin side. The diacetyl has to go, but this is a shadow of a hef anyway.
