Pours a clear amber color with an apple juice hue and minimal white head with moderate action and a hint of sediment.
Has a grainy barley malt taste with a hint of grapefruit and butter.
Light bodied, resinous and slight butter feel, with lively crisp carbonation.
Definite session beer and the grainy barley taste is not to sweet.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 19, 2009 Pretty decent pale ale. Not as much citrus or pine flavor I’m used to with American PA. Very clear and appealing ale. Decent head with alright retention I suppose. Good level of carbonation and the foam adds a good mouthfeel.
Not my fave pale ale but its not the worst I’ve had. Would recommend. bb (2930), Martinez, California, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 15, 2009 Aroma is faint, with a hint of perfumey floral hops and light malt notes as well. Pours clear and gold with a really decent head and surprisingly good lace. Pale malts up front with some sweetness and a decent perfumey finish. A hint metallic, but when consumed with food, the metal goes away and the hops cleanse the palate Smooth and actually my favorite one of the four. thooper41 (384), Oregon, USA

Actually a very simple and inoffensive American Pale Ale. Kind of what you think a pale ale should taste like. Nose is of caramel malts with mild floral and citrus hops, and a clean mouthfeel. Flavor is mild but has just enough presence to make you realize you are drinking a beer for the masses. This one I think will be well liked by my Bud drinking brother-in-law and give him a reason to step up his game. A solid middle of the road beer and a good value.

Light spotty lacing. Aroma is light toasted malt and herbal hops. Flavor is lightly sweetened toasted malt, cereal, and herbal hops. Has a slight lingering aftertaste. Finish is crisp. Light to medium body. Not bad, but I wouldn’t call it an APA.
