Darker golden body with a medium white head. Spot lacing. Smell is of caramel, malt, and hops. Taste is the same. Pretty basic beer with a nice malty sweet start and a short hop finish. Nothing grand but very drinkable.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Very zippy, nice head. Starts very, very malty and much too spicy. The maltiness is simple too aggressive and moldy. Not really drinkable and much too intense. Not good!

Local beer for me. Like the rest of the Kirners weak and watery with the same aftertaste. Although this is one of thier best beers not a great beer either.

Bottle. Toffee malt and light grassy hops aroma. Golden yellow color with moderate head. Toffee malt and metallic/grass hops flavor. Decent beer but nothing spectacular.

Pours a orange/amber color. Aromas of malts/caramel, sweet smelling. Sweet flavors of caramel with some hops/fruit.

50cL bottle. Good looking beer, poured a clear, brown color. Good carbonation with a white head, but the head disappeared quickly. Nothing big in the flavor, good or bad. Thin flavor, watery mouthfeel but decent.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pretty looking dark golden beer with a nice head. Very malty, smooth character with a subdued bitterness. Pleasant but not really stunning. Was voted "Beer of the year" in the Probier beerclub. 250601

Bottled:
Burned grain aroma, some hop notes. Orange to braown color, frothy head. Grainy flavor, malt, light caramel and a unpleasant bitter and burnt note in the end. Medium bodied but thin in the end. Dry finish.
