I think i’ve bought that beer in Slovakia, Sturovo. But the alcohol content is 4% abv...The beer has a nice appearance with dark brown body and a small beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffe, some cocoa. The taste is a classic dunkel like coffee, roasted malts, caramell, moderated carbonation. I was surprised about that dunkel. Nice roasted aftertaste.

0,5L bottle. Dark brown color. Caramel and coffee aroma. Flavor like coffee, but after can feel some hops and caramel tones. Not bad.

13/08 A 0.5 l bottle from a gas station somewhere around Trencin, Slovakia. Poured reddish brown body with smaller brownish head that lived quite short. Caramel and coffee are what you can find in its aroma. Flavor is relatively similar, with caramel being not too sweet and coffee being not too bitter, making it pleasant, but unfortunately as of its thin body not so nice, plus as of some strange wood in flavor. Finish is shorter, quite neutral with that wood being most obvious to me. Fine, but would be much better if not lacking so much body.

0.5l bottle, 4% courtesy of and shared with heavy who brought it from Slovakia (thanks!)
Poured a small off white head that went away at a medium pace, dark red/brown body. The nose starts off too weak but somewhat promising, roasty and with notes of coffee. The sweetish taste echoes the nose, weak and roasty, but the roast is quite fine and forms an interesting aftertaste. Notes of coffee and just a touch of alcohol. Shows potential but it’s pining for a more pronounced taste and body.

Rated: 23.07.2007
Bottle brown, 500 ml, extract of wort 11,5%
Appearance: Body is flat but under closer expertise you can perceive some bubbles going up. Deep red, deep dark, you have to light it well to see the deep red colour, almost like Zywiec Porter. Head is medium, quickly decreasing to small, off- white, light brown in colour, regular in consistancy, no lacing, carbonation is going all to head. Head is frothy.
Aroma: Old, stale bread, toasty, no caramel aroma, rather poor one, faint, not intensive at all, cardboard, old book’s paper. I think is a bit artificial, creamy.
Flavour: Bitter, caramel, sugar- burned taste, a bit accidic, salty. Nice, dry bread, in the aftertaste you can feel burned sweetness and finish is quite long, moderate bitter, alcohol is well hidden. Finish duration is average to long.
Palate: Body is medium to full, texture is dry, syroupy, carbonation is soft on palate, finish is nice. Finish feel is burned, roasty, grainy, toasty. All aspects as for a dunkel are fulfilled.
