Sweet, roast-malty aroma with chocolate, caramel and liquorice. Sweet flavour with some burnt bitterness, medium to full bodied, smooth carbonation. Chewy roast-malty taste with dried fruits, light notes of caramel and chocolate/cacao; sweet and roast-bitter, slightly vinous-fruity finish with a warming alcoholic note. I had the opportunity to compare the fresh bottle with an older one (bb: July 06), which was more fruit-accented, more vinous, even a bit more complex, rounder and softer. sk8viking (6077), Copenhagen, Denmark Dec 29, 2007 Bottle. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma is of caramel malt and rye bread, so is the taste. Medium to full body with a sweet light dry finish.
