Das Zwicklbier ist eine Spezialität aus dem Hause Kitzmann. Wasser aus eigenem Tiefbrunnen, Malz aus kontrolliertem Gerstenanbau der Region, hochwertiger Aromahopfen aus Spalt und Hefe aus eigener Hefereinzuchtanlage verleihen diesem Bier einen außergewöhnlichen Geschmack.

in a ceramic mug, on tap at some restaurant in erlangen. took a long time to pull so i took that as a good sign. aroma of kiwi fruit, looked light brown and had a persistent splotchy head. buttery texture, hints of pineapple, banana and a semi-dry, powdery finish. yet another good zwickl

Draught@Some place in Erlangen. Very nice i thought. Clean and crisp as i expected. Some soft fruityness, apricoty/melony, very light though. Finish is grassy and crisp, round mouthfeel, refreshing and mildly bitter. Nice. Fresh.

Can only be bought directly at the brewery in reusable two liter bottles which also have to be bought (once) or in 15 liter. There it is tapped directly from the breweries tanks in a special tapping station. Unfiltered, hazy dark yellow colour. Heavy body, very spicy with mild finish. Tastes very freshly.
