Commercial Description:
This is Klamath Basin’s flagship beer. While this beer fits into the category of American Style Amber Ale, we think you will find many more pleasing flavors and aromas than any other Amber Ale you’ve had. It has strong malt flavors mingling with fine Northwest Cascade and Fuggle hop tones. Drink this beer as a thirst quenching accompaniment to a meal, or let it stand alone for a truly complex and exciting experience for your taste buds.

Draft at Oregon Brewers Festival, Portland, OR. Ivory head that mostly diminished, no lacing, soft carbonation observed, transparent, and an orange hue. The nose was malty, caramel, wheat notes, and mildly hoppy. Ditto for the flavor and it finished crise and dry. Smooth mouthfeel. Quaffable indeed and worthy of a try.

On tap at Bailey’s Taproom in PDX--Poured a hazy dark copper hue with a bold white head. Bubbly and mildly aromatic. Nose of grainy malts and mild hops. Crisp, carbonated finish. Very quaffable.

Draft at Bailey’s Taproom, Portland. A hazy dark amber beer with a thick tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, wheat, and yeast. The flavor is sweet quite wheaty with notes of spices and caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish.

This draft brew from the Oregon Brewers festival poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent softly carbonated orange brown colored body. The mild aroma was hoppy malty and Irish Red malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The strong crisp flavor contained notes of hops and caramel. Kind of like an APA. A decent one that I would consider buying again.
