On draft at Vinarna Hrozen. The beer was poured and presented in flute glasses and was a lightly cloudy ruby. The head was fluffy and settled pretty fast. The barmaid was having a bit of a fit with the active tap and had to pour a third glass to help keep the foam down. This was a very round beer with a mellow bready yeastiness that balancd out the tart apple/pear ping that accompanied the intertwined touch of whole hop. This went down fast and helped us on our way thru the tour of the cities underground catacombs a half an hour later. We must have caught a well kept keg. I would not have jumped in this place if it were not for MP’s nod. Thanks Fil!!!!!! omhper (12299), Stockholm, Sweden

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 5, 2008 Draught at Vinarna Hrozen in Plzen. Hazy bright gold colored body. Buttery yeast in the nose, with a big, sweet cream and butter aroma throughout. Flavor is similar: buttery but otherwise clean pilsner malt, a bit chewy but smooth… I think something may have been wrong, both glasses of ours tasted the same, but as least it was fresh tasting and the butter/yeast/diacetyl/whatever was not overwhelming. oh6gdx (9115), Vasa, Finland
