Excellent saaz orangey/grassy hop aroma. Soft and sweet, gently malty with oily, butterscotchy, very bitter finish. Old school Czech beer with all the delight the oily butterscotch brings. A strong floral, spicy saaz hoppiness immediately shows its unique aptitude to pair along with the maltiness it lives with. Very fresh aromas of enticing bread and cereals. Slightly candyish sweetness lies a fragrant toastiness. Various herbs and straw wave at us on the way to refreshment wonderland. Surprisingly mineral, but even more impressively balanced. Fresh cereals and sweet graininess working in pair with a generous growing hoppy dryness. Long-lasting carbonation, active and engaging. Light-medium body. Most worthy example. pivnizub (5080), Bochum, Porúří, Germany

The Lure: Flower petals amongst the crispy hay. An attractive farmstead calling for a relaxing walk.
The Festivities: Serene equilibrium of straw-like pale malts and wooden, resinous hop flavors and bitterness. Lemony sunrays illuminate the flavorful and agreeable union.
Transcendence: Authentic, flowing, golden locks.
Second experience, this time from the tap at Praha’s Klasterni Pivnice:
Honeyed maltiness overcame lowly grassy, herbal hops as watery passages made this workman’s pint very drinkable, but not memorable. 3.1/5 motelpogo (4395), Plzen, Czech Republic
