(6/28/08) Draught at a blind tasting at Modrý Abbé in Klatovy. Slightly hazy golden with a medium white head, Aroma is yeasty, maybe a bit perfumy, with something weird and some malt. Sweetish flavor with some malt, light yeastiness and light unpleasant sourness-bitterness in the finish. Quite light in body.

(Draught) Pours golden. The aroma is empty and light honey-like with doughy and bready undertones. The flavour is malty with notes of bread alongside light sour dough undertones. The mouthfeel is medium carbonated and a bit hard. The finish is empty with only some sour, tart and light dry hints.

Tap @ Modrý Abbé.
4th beer in the blindtasting.
Pours a slightly hazy golden with a good, creamy, white head. Aroma is weak, lightly metallic, but with sweet biscuity malts. Medium carbonation, okay mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, very sugary. Almost no hops and a cabbage feel to it. Not impressive.

Draught at Modry Abbe. Beer No.4 on the blind tasting. Gold with big white head. Highly carbonated, tinny, cardboardy beer with a buttery note. Sweetish on the palate with low hop impact, quite thin overall. On the poor side.

The fourth beer at the Modry Abbe blind tasting.
Dark golden coloured, medium sized white head, light grainy nose. Mild malty, fresh hoppy and light yeasty with notes of sweet corn. Low carbonation and mild bitter finish.
