Aroma is doughy, some multigrain bread depth, very light honey and butter. Flavor is outstanding. Mildly sweet fresh-baked bread, light tingly herbal hoppiness, and slight damp, musty notes in background, with give it a bit more depth. Light, fluffy, yet rich palate. malrubius (1002), Valley Stream, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 22, 2008 12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Clear golden orange with nice puffy head and some lace. Mild malty grassy aroma. Medium nondescript malt flavor, mild grassiness, mild apple, weak sweet finish with carbonation bite. Medium-light body, medium carbo. Drinkable in a pinch. Maybe too subtle for me? Radek Kliber (3957), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada

Appearance: Clear medium deep gold with below average top. Sparsely laced. Nose : Front hoppy , slightly earthy with plenty of honey hints. Flower like finish. Lacking crispness and smoothness typical to better Czech examples. Flavor/Palate : Bitter soapy front. Malt side remains hidden. Hops with organic honey. This set up does not work very well. Needs tweaking.

| 4.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Feb 11, 2008 Updated: May 1, 2008This is very nice. It is a deep gold with a thin bu long-lastin white head that leaves some decent lacing. The aroma is very nice, being yeast with strong, nutty grain and hints of herb and citrus. The taste is a full-bodied malty, toasty, nutty grain with bitter herbal, piney, and slightly citrusy hops that lightly dominate the beer nicely, through to the finish which is a nice blend of bitter herbal and piney hops with nutty grain. The flavour is strong from start to finish and the body is fairly thick and oily. jason (1623), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jan 14, 2008 Well, looks like pale yellow american lager. Not much in aroma, perhaps a little metallic in the background. I like many bohemian pilsners like Budweiser Budvar (Czechvar) 12° and I dislike a few such as Pilsneer Urquel. This is on the lower side of enjoyability on the taste buds. Quite an alky impact on the buds even tho it is only 5%. Bitter lager hop flavor like yowzer. Bitter lingering finish. Too much personality for my lager loven taste. littlecarp (128), Redding, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 7, 2008 Aroma has banana notes, some caramel malt hints as well. Pour was decent. Pretty shabby head. Flavor is somewhat chemical with a malty finish. Some nutty tones in there. Nice bitter bite on the back of the tongue that last through the finish. Overall, it has several layers of flavor, but nothing is exceptionally good. Reid (1090), Salem, Oregon, USA

Dark golden, slightly hazy beer, small off white head.
Very doughy/buiscuity aromas, only a touch of hop.
Wow this is avery malty, thick Bohemian Pils, chewy almost, slight lemon hop bitterness appears at the end and leaves a very nice after taste.
Very good mouthfeel thick and with a great pepperyness
Another good drinkable European beer this damp Oregon January day!
