Pours crystal-clear orangey light amber with a fairly thick and sudsy white head for a pils. Lots of CO2 on the nose, a bit of Saaz goodness, some light corn. Medium body, light fizzy carb. DMSy corn all over the attack and mid-palate. Lightly bitter clingy finish. Not at all awful but not a repeater by any means. HopheadHans (755), Bay Area, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 11, 2007 Bottle. Interesting beer. Pours with an amber color, much darker than expected. Nice aroams of fruit and mustiness. Flavors of hops, malts and grains and a distinct hop character. More edgy than your typical pilsener.
Long lasting finish of bittering hops. troopie (878), USA

Top of tongue tang Doughy taste, something like a cake doughnut without the sugar frosting. Some hoppy bitterness but not a lot. Lasting finish, again landing on the top of the tongue. Pours a clear golden blonde with an average size white head. Nose is bready. Taste is caramel, biscuity, toasted grains and some earthy hops in the finish. Quite a bit of graininess and grassiness in the aftertaste. VERY hoppy for a lager of this style. Body is light/medium, carbonation average. This is a refreshing well-done Pilsener. slimchill (780), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 24, 2007 Bottle. Nose is very grain-heavy, lots of oats and wheat, with a distinct buttery aroma. Very clear yellow pils with a thing bubbly white head. Flavor is simple, falling on the sour side. Crisp opening in to a nice smooth finish. Overall a nice drinkable pilsener a little lacking in flavor but enjoyable nonetheless.
