A decent Bohemian Pilsener with an emphasis on the malt. Its well hopped and the hop flavor and bitterness come on in the finish. Good complexity but easy drinking. Better than I expected. bhensonb (4289), Woodland, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Apr 7, 2007 5.6% version. LIghtly grassy hop nose, backed by light malt. Brassy color with a minimal white head. Full mouthfeel, strong carbonation, starts with malt, but the finish has enough hop to help qualify this as a pilsener. It’s not as "clean" as Urquell, but it has more malty warmth. JAF737300 (797), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 5, 2007 I found this in a very good German butcher shop in upstate NY. Ih as a nice color of dark straw and a light nose but the flavor explodes nicely and the finish is pure and long. guachoo (6), USA does not count | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 3, 2007 great beer - I must say i was pleasantly surprised when I found it in a local Mexican supermarket in south San Diego KAggie97 (2460), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 24, 2007 Bottle. Pours average yellow with a nice head and neato lacing. Floral sweet nose, with hints of honey. Skunky-sweet Sweet-N-Low with lemon flavor that simply doesn’t do much for me. Watery mouthfeel. A very blahsky beer. BigBeer45 (695), Troy, Michigan, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 10, 2007 i tried this beer from a .5L bottle, chilled pretty well. beer poured with a great head for the pilsener style, looking like some thick undiluted suds. odor is robust and slightly grainysee why bohemia is considered a beer mecca, and why the czech republic leads the world in per capita beer consumption. the malted grain and crystal clear water work so well together. tasty!
