Deep transparent red body with a thin light tan head. The nose was malty, with a bit of buttery notes and some toffee and carmel. The taste was very smooth, and mellow. Sweet camrel with a hint of subtle fruits near the end. This went down so smooth and easy. I could easily drink several of these without realizing it.

0.5l bottle. Clear bown, tan head. bready malt aroma. Sweet malty bready flavor. Nice malt flavors here for sure. This is a well done light beer, and the way light should be! Very smooth and malty, and not astringent.

Cold in a pint glass. Nice purplish garnet, with small and weak beige head. Mild, ashy and chocolatey aroma. Somewhat empty palate, weak coffee and a touch of chocolate. Light husky graininess in the finish, which lingers astringent and semi-dry. Color me not a fan.

Like what many other reviewers said, too sweet and watery. The over-sweetness even reminded my of the South American "stouts" line Xingu - not a good example to follow.

What Black Abbot is trying to be. Pours dark brown/amber. Sweet honey flavor and nose, with sweet finish, gently hopped. Body is slightly thinner than I would have hoped. Overall, well done, and I’ll try you again, you Klaster.

medium brown, slightish beige head, heavily carbonated. aroma is slightly oxidized, slightly nutty. flavor is cola-ish, with a lot of chocolate in the finish. body is quite thin.
