Comments: Clean, well-brewed, buttery, yet crisp Czech pils that does the job.
Ungstrup (14723), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 17, 2007 Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, the flavor is pretty alike, but added light notes of honey, leading to a dry and rather bitter finish. Papsoe (14613), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 6, 2007 (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Hildigöltur. Clear, deep golden with an off-white head. Clean, malty aroma. Medium body with a very solid malt base and some weak notes of caramel. The finish is dry. 100507 gunnfryd (3539), Kristiansand, Norway Jun 1, 2007 Bottle. THX to Papsoe. Golden colour . Aroma is sweet, fruit, malt, hop. Flavour is sweet, fruit, malt, hop, caramel. ok pilsner. yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway May 30, 2007 Bottle. (Thx to Papsoe) Clear, golden beer with small bubbly head. The nose is a pleasant mix of malt and hops, but it didn’t go beyond pleasant. Malt, hops and some caramel in the flavor, which finishes mostly bitter. Medium body. Quite nice spring-pilsner, but it failed to thrill me. (070510) Quack-Duck (3128), Bodensee/Schwarzwald, Germany May 27, 2007 bright yellow colour, nearly orange, large white head. Malty aroma. Malty and sweet, fruity and slightly hoppy. Lovelly beer! omhper (12147), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 22, 2005 Updated: May 10, 2005Bottled. Golden colour. Strong, somewhat citric hop aroma. Dryish but with some malt sweetness coming through. Solidly malty and really hoppy with lots of oily butterscotch. Bitter finish. Pivovar Kláster really makes some of the finest beers in Czech Rep.
