Has a sweet, spicy smell. Medium bodied with a very smooth mouthfeel. Has a nice malty, yeasty sweet flavor with a hint of gingerbread.
Tastes very fresh for an import brew.

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 6, 2007 A simple looking beer with an interesting taste and a more interesting spicy aftertaste. I liked the beer but is not an everyday drinkable beer which is probably why it is a Winter lager. kp (8399), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

The flavor is dry and dusty, a bit manuarish, not that good. Finishes hoppy, strong alcohol and spice. NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA

Pours a bright, clear golden color and holds a frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Looks pretty beer commercial perfect to be honest, but the head collapses onto itself a bit too fast. Arome is grains, honey, malt and a bit of grassiness. Cleana nd light on the first sip. It’s sweet (malt/honey) throught he middle with a vegetal bitterness toward the finish. I don’t really know what the best is in this style, but I’d be shocked if this was it. Feels nice ont he tongue though and delivers the lager experience from a mothyfeel perspective. Just doesn’t taste very good. TerryR (383), Oswego, Illinois, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 23, 2007 Golden with a nice white head. Aroma has saaz hops, malt and another element that I can’t quite identify. Clove/honey? Not unpleasant but different. Moderately sweet malty flavor with the same odd aroma carrying over to the flavor. Smooth finish. tommy8768 (120), Litlle Compton, Rhode Island, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 4, 2007 Clear golden color with a tight white head. Has a kind of grassy aroma, smells a little metallic also. Typical pilsener taste with a little extra hops thrown in. Not bad but nothing to write home about. glkaiser (1171), Seattle, Washington, USA

Slight corn/grain taste with a small hop bite. Nice sublte sweetness. Worth trying, just because it’s a different take on a typical pils. But, winter lager? Huh? Can’t blame a brewery for trying to capitalize on our market.
