| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 7, 2005 12oz. bottle. Slight aroma of pale grains, faint sweetness, must and vegetal hops. Light-medium clear golden color with a lasting white head. Bitter, malty, tangy flavor, some spicy, grassy hop noted and finishes with a lot of what seems like cholophyll. Highly effervescent on the palate and rather thin, a bit of astringency here and there. Definitely a mess and quite disappointing, makes me glad I only bought the one bottle. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 5, 2005 Bottle: Euro-lager sweetness in the aroma with some moderate grassy hops. Pours a transparent gold with a decent white head that lasts a minute or so. Great lacing. Honey sweetness up front with a moderate flowery and grassy hop finish lingers for a little in the aftertaste. BeerLimey (1873), California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 22, 2005 Clear golden appearance, fairly large bubbles. Spicy, hoppy grassy aroma. Mild palate, fair amount of hops but fairly sweet malt too. Disappointed by the "winter lager" description, it’s really just another pilsner and not the best at that. I also note that it’s export only for the US, if it needs a season why not summer? Saarlander (1579), Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA

The thick froth holds together nicely down the sides of a PILSNER GLASS. Odd bready malt with an unbalanced bittersweetness. Lingering hop finish of charred wood. Not that bad after number three. Certainly not a 16 out of 100. euserphriendly (163), Holland, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 13, 2005 Sweet and unoffensive at first but the aftertaste was all wrong. This one is really about the malt. It poured a deep amber with a quickly dissappearing head. Needs work. wilkie (1191), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA

Aroma is malty but something not so right going on there.
Taste is same. Seems like I had another one of their beers
and tasted the same crap. There are some hops and
malt but the overall feeling for me is skunky flavor. Glad I only
bought one.
