Bottle. Pours a quite clear, copper body, under a beige head. Caramel and malt starts the aroma profile, soon joined bye fruityness and a touch of spices. The malt and caramel from the aroma starts the flavor too, and in addition there’s dried fruits and some bitterness. Medium to full body. Sure a drinkable dubbel, it’s quite tasteful, but on the other hand, it doesn’t stand out. But I like it. (080215)

Aug 24, 2008 Dark brown colour, off-white head. Aroma has caramel malts and dark fruits. Flavour has caramel malts and fruits. Finishes sweet. Average dubbel.

Aug 17, 2008 Bottle: Poured a dark chocolate brown with a thin off white jello cream head. The aroma is dark fruits and caramel. Taste is sugary malt with a tangy alcohol finish.

Jun 7, 2008 Dark amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma has dates, some malt and hints of licorice and alcohol. Flavour is sweetish malt, some alcohol and notes of cherries and dates. Dry alcohol finish.
