sayravai (3252), Helsinki, Finland Sep 22, 2006 (Bottled) Hazy dark reddish brown with a smallish, but tight head, and lots of floating yeast. A bit stuffy, neutral-malty aroma with sweetish honey hints. Roasted-malty, honeyish, slightly alcoholic flavor with medium bitterness and some underlying ashiness. Bittersweet, moderately acidic finish. Medium-bodied, slicky-smooth palate with soft carbonation. A very nice, smooth and balanced dessert porter. KimJohansen (5208), Copenhagen V, Denmark Jun 23, 2008 Clear dark brown with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, honey, and caramel. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, caramel, coffee, honey and chocolate. Nekronos (2027), Xalapa, Mexico May 7, 2006 Really nice, but I do not understand something about the percentage since the bottle I had said 4.5% and the label was different. Anyway, it has a better taste at teh end. Maria (4973), Thisted, Denmark Jul 10, 2008 Courtesy of Cgarvieuk, thanks a lot for this little bear :) It’s dark brown with a red hue and a huge, nice and creamy head, that leaves islands of foam on the surface. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, licorice and honey. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of roasted malt, caramel, coffee, a little licorice and very weak hints of honey. The body is quite light, but the overall impression still is quite nice! ogivlado (2552), Zagreb, Croatia Jan 15, 2007 Bottled(330ml). -Dark coffee coloured, medium sized beige head, sweet honey wheaty nose. Aroma of coffee, caramel, yeast and honey with mild fruity and smoked notes. A way too sweet but but quite nice and tasty porter.
