Ungstrup (11930), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 28, 2004 An unclear dark red-brown beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is sweet spicy with notes of oranges. The flavor is very sweet, but also slightly sour, with loads of fruit of which pineapple and oranges stand out. Papsoe (11421), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 3, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Orangey brownish, hazy with a gigantic, fluffy head helped big a very high carbonation. Not very aesthetic! 4 different malts and 2 different hops make this a fairly complex brew. Nice, full body and a warming alcohol glow with a distinct, bitter finish. Notes of figs and other dried fruits. 260402 MiP (6732), Flensburg, Germany Jun 4, 2005 Bottle. Slightly malty aroma, a little sour. Very small hint of honey. Chestnut colour. Sourish, citric flavour. Aftertaste has a hint of honey. There is no honey in this beer, by the way. A bit acidic for me, but probably good for a short session. kp (6300), Woodstock, Georgia, USA May 25, 2008 Date: 05/24/2008
fiulijn (6142), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Feb 3, 2005 Amber color; giant head. Strange aroma: candi, spices, dried fruits and flowers. Quite good body structure, some malt, a light sourness. Not bad, but quite odd.
