Klein Duimpje Porter

Bottle. Light alcoholic, light sour and chocolate, moderate malty. A medium sized frothy brown head with a black body. Moderate bitter start and finish, average duration. Dry and very creamy texture, soft carbonation and a medium body. A very nice Porter, a really great one!

Black colored brew. Aroma of raisins, maybe bready.chocolate and nuts. Flavor of dark chocolate and nuts with a dry palate.

Bottled. Poured deeper iced tea brown with a short, but well-retained cap of beige head. The aroma had sweeter chocolates with licorice.. moderate roast to it.. brighter grassy/herbal accents. The flavor had singed darker chocolates and mild coffee roast at the core with some woody and leafy bitterness around.. finished sweeter with chocolates and darker star anise.. stickier at the end with the hops not entirely able to cut through. Medium-ish bodied with fluffy carbonation and a bone-dry finish.. decent flow.. very drinkable.

Unclear medium amber brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, licorice - anis notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (110708)

a light colored porter with a murky light brown appearance under a large creamy beige head. big caramel aroma with some milk chocolate. flavor is nutty, peanut butter, buttery caramel, milk chocolate, sugar babies candy, and a touch of hazelnut. i like it. a hybrid porter/brown ale.
