On tap at Beachwood BBQ a few weeks back. color was brownish. Aroma of caramel, vanilla, and tart fruit. Flavor was the same. Vanilla and caramel with some sweet fruit. Some nice elements in this one.

This draft brew from a restaurant poured a small sized head of frothy finely sized bubbles served fully dininished. The body was softly carbonated transparent and golden in color. The palatae was tingly from start to finish with a strengthening in the aftertaste. The flavor contained an initial hop rush followed by a malty sweet candy like note that was hard for me to describe. The aroma was mild with candy malty notes and something els3e caramel like. Interesting flavor it had, quaffable and hard to describe.

draft at JK O’Donnell’s in Ft Wayne - Pours amber with a medium sized off white head. It has a very fruity aroma with grape, malt and yeast. The flavor is sweet and fruity with notes of citrus and grape and a mild, pleasantly sour character. Very drinkable. It doesn’t seem like a really heavy beer and it’s easy to forget about that 11.5%. Like other raters, I can see why some people will consider it too sweet, but I liked it.

Draft. Pours orange copper with a fine, thin, off-white head. Aroma of grapes, pear, pine, hay, hops, and malt. Medium bodied with a clean, tangy mouthfeel. Crisp, strong, slow finish. Excellent Beligan strong. This was supposedly from the last keg known to exist. Awesome.

Draft at Tyler’s in Apex. Called Klokke de Roeland. Short white head. Sweet, candyish nose with floral hops, yeast and fruit notes. taste is candy, sweet malts, fruit, some cake-like flavors, yeast and soft alcohol. Body is creamy and medium-full with dense carbonation notes. Soft alcohol warming as well. Ends with more candy, sweet malt, fruit, the cake flavors are there again, yeast light floral hops and more alcohol. Not too bad but a touch too sweet!

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel, as well as lighter notes of elderberries. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and alcohol. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Unclear amber of color with an off white head. An aroma of apples, dry and fruits. A flavor of sweets and spice.
