Nov 9, 2004 The German brewery is entirely fictional. The beer has a golden colour. The aroma is malty with a hint of grassy hops. The palate has a creamy maltiness and faint grassiness. Rounded cookie dough notes and a balanced finish put this ahead of most mainstream Asian lagers.

Oct 7, 2002 Bottle @ Woodstock bar Bangkok. Pale yellow with fine rising bubbles and a white head. Crisp cool aroma with a bright flavor. This seems to be the expat favorite.

Apr 28, 2005 Updated: Jun 13, 2005(Bottle 33 cl) Looks like a licensed German beer, but I haven’t been able to track down "Klosterbrauerei Neustadt A/D" and for good reason, as it seems to be a completely fake company! Weird... Anyways, the beer is rather pale with a pretty fine head. Nice aromatic hops in the nose. Mild with some hop-bite on the palate. Not that bad. Basically the same company as produces "Singha" - "Boon Rawd". 101103

Dec 22, 2003 Updated: May 10, 2006Bottled. Pale yellow with dish water head. Pleasantly dry and clean. Rather firm, but a light touch of vegetables disturbs. The finish is hoppier and more bitter than is common among Asian beers.

May 5, 2003 Unusual to find German lager brewed in Thailand. A weak pale yellow hue with a medium head. Crisp and light with hints of the German hops in the aroma. Refreshing, but not overly flavoursome. Leaves a gassy feeling, so one or two will be your limit.

Jan 13, 2004 alot of nostalgia here.....must drink this cold and on the beach to appreciate. an ok beer that looks good but left unpleasant aftertaste.

May 19, 2005 A very thin beer and weak aroma. Leaves a fruity and bitter aftertaste. Not too bad, but not in the top of thai beers.
