Commercial Description:
Our wheat beer is brewed with top fermenting yeast from an original extract of 12.2% yielding 5.3% alcohol by volume. The complicated fermentation process results in a fruity, spicy taste. It is unfiltered, like all our beers, and thus retains some of the yeast which makes the beer more palatable and more healthy.

A nice weiz beer but nothing extraordinary. It has a weak wheat taste. A quite typical well made beer.

500 ML flip-top bottle in Germany. The Brewpub is now sending cases out to local stores for sale. Cloudy deep yellow color with full head. A very unique beer. Aroma of lemon and bananas. Not sweet but very tasty and bitter palate. A very different Hefe. Something that I want more of. A very good but different Hefe for sure.

Bottle. Very fruity smell, very strong smell of bananas, moderate yeasty, a hint of lemon. Light cloudy yellow body. Moderate creamy-foamy head, long lasting. Light citrus taste, short duration. Light body, light creamy and watery, lively carbonation. Nice Weizen.

Draught at the brewpub
Cloudy blond color; big head. The aroma has both some spices and banana. The body is medium thin, it’s missing some consistent body, even if there is a balanced spicy and fruity (banana) flavor. Dryish, but dynamic. Pleasant.

500ml swing-top bottle. Creamy, white head over a hazy yellow body. Sweet aroma of late banana. Tart fruits in flavour containing banana and a yeasty touch towards the ending (Trier, 13.09.2007).

Draft at abbey. Nice refreshing hefe but nothing remarkable. Great for a hot day with a little wheat and citrus flavoring.

An unclear orange beer with a huge white head. The aroma is sweet wheaty with light notes of banana. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of banana and wheat, leading to a dry wheaty finish.
