50cl bottle: Pours cloudy amber with a creamy white head. Nose is spicy & fruity. Berries mainly. Very christmas "Spicy like". Lots of anis. Flat & thin bodied. One dimensional & rather forgettable!

0.5 l bottle, thanks Hannu N and Timo A. Murky brown color. Sweetish and perfumed aroma with anis, pepper and berries. Sweet spicy flavor with plenty of anis and hints of berries. Oily palate and very long anis finish. The anis flavor is overpowering and masks other flavors.

On tap @ EBF 2008. Unclear orange body with an off-white head. Aroma is Peaches, yeast and a bit spicy. Flavor is rather refreshing and still sweet malt, peaches, bitter citrus fruit, some spices and a hint of acidity in the finish. OK and a bit ordinary.

On tap at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. A hazy orange beer with an off-white head. Fruity and sweet aroma with some spices and a distinct Belgian impression. Fruity and sweet flavor, mostly orange, with a mild spicy touch and the same Belgian impression found in the nose. Full-bodied, well-carbonated and almost sticky. Long sweet finish with orange and spices. Far from a bad beer, but it doesn’t stand out either. (080913)
