Aroma is sweet and malty with lots of caramel and some sligth rye bread. Good mouthfeel, even for a relatively high carbonation. Flavour is lightly sweet, some yeast and fine, dry hoppiness in the finish. Fine, not too sweet dobbelbock. Light yeasty and dry malty aroma. Sweet malty, light alcohol presence. Smooth malty and light roasted. Light yeasty touch and dry. Smooth roasted malty finish. Dry too. Gazza (720), Worcester, Worcestershire, England Apr 17, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Dark red with a rich malt & fruit nose. An explosion of flavour with malt, chocolate, toffee, treacle, and a hint of alcohol. Mellow and very long toffee-malt finish, lots of coffee and chocolate, ends dry and warming. Superb stuff.
