1 L siphon. Pours clear and golden yellow with a one finger thick and chalk white head. Mild butterish and malt aroma. Mild sweet brewmash malty and first with a solid bitterness taking over and leading into a dry and mild floral hoppy finish. Aroma is a bit off, but flavour is great.

Draught at the brewpub. It’s unclear golden with a creamy head, and it’s renewed by a lot of pearls rising towards the head. The aroma has notes of caramel, butterscotch, malt and yeast. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of malt, caramel and a dry grapefruit bitterness.

(On tap) Clear golden with a white head. Good, hoppy nose. Medium body with clean malts but otherwise completely dominated by a very distinct bitterness. Classic North German "herb". 020708

<i>Bottled. </i> Lightly hazy bright yellow, creamy head. Grassy nose with notes of butter. Dry and soft with superb buttery malt character covered in lots of grassy hops. Long herbal bitter finish. Yeah! This is great. Superbly drinkable and refreshing. Why was the bottle only 1l?

Draught. Refreshing aroma, a bit acidic. Cloudy golden colour. Soapy, but stable white head. The flavour is medium to high in bitterness, a bit astringent. Citric flavour. Not bad.
