From barrel at Stratford upon Avon Beer Fest ’07. Cloudy lemon colour with no head. Harsh dry cider, acidic on the palate and particularly under ripe. Difficult.

Bottled and picked up from a farm shop Mar 06. Straw coloured cider with quite a pleasant appley aroma, bit on the dry side but a decent taste which was very natural and a very drinkable if not outstanding cider.

Straw coloured without excessive carbonation. Aromas are earty apples with some pepper. Flavours are dry and earthy apples without much sweetness - especially the unforgivable sweeteners in some ciders. Some pepper on the finish followed by a very dry and woody aftertaste. A good honest cider.
