Thanks to kramer17801 for the 12 oz. bottle. Beer smells a bit floral, but not to the extent of an IIPA, more like a barley wine. Flavor has a bit more hoppy citrus flavors, as well as a fine helping of malt as well. This really has potential, but seems to fall a bit short. It tastes like a bigger beer but not a better beer.

Poured a clear copper color with a small off-white head. Aroma of citrus and floral hops. Bubble gum and light alcohol. Caramel underneath. Citrusy acidic flavor. Malt mixed in. Dry finish with a moderate bitterness. Not bad.

Thanks to kramer17801 for the bottle. Pours amber with diminishing off white head. Mild aroma of piney hops, sweet caramel malt, and some booziness. Hop flavor is peppery, dry, and bitter balanced by the malt, which has hints of brown sugar, caramel, and maple. Finish is warming, with taste of grain alcohol, bitter dry hops. Hops at the back of the mouth nicely. This was not bad, but it has a cheap beer charactaristic that I can’t seem to pinpoint.

12-oz. bottle via trade with kramer17801. Pours maple, mahagony with some ruby hints and a small, quickly diminishing off-white head, becomes a rocky film with lined lacing. Pine hop aroma greets you before your nose gets too close, followed by a sweet, candied caramel malt aroma in the background, and the alcohol scent increases as the beer warms. Medium bitter and acidic hop flavor that lasts making for a dry palate, with caramel malt (meal, cereal) notes and a rubbing, fusel alcohol taste at the end. Medium bodied and dry, fizzy and spicy palate.

Clear amber/gold in color. With light head and decent lace. Good floral hop nose with malts on the back. Nice hops upfront and followed up with lingering malts with great balance. Good balance of sweet then dry on the finish.

12oz bottle thanks to egajdzis. Poured a dark orange color with a larger sized off white head. Aromas of flowers, pine, oranges and some caramel. Tastes of oranges, caramel, citrus and toasted malts. Has a decent balance to it. Alcohol content well hidden.

12 oz bottle compliments of kramer17801: Medium coppery amber w/ a light haze and an off white lasting medium head. Caramel and toasty malts with a piney and citrusy hop up front in the aroma. Mostly malt though, as well as some brown sugar notes as it warms. Also slightly nutty w/ some vanilla notes. Well balanced flavor that is just ever so slightly to bitter. A lemony citrusy hop flavor dominates, but does not overpower the immediate palate into the middle where it becomes toasty and caramel malts. Fruitiness is from the hops, and the medium dry finish is citrusy hop and toasty malt flavored. Higher mediium carbonation probably takes away a bit of the body and leaves it on the light medium side. Alcohol is well hidden in all aspects of the beer. A well made IPA/IIPA, but it’s not over the top hops. Sort of middle of the road as far as this type goes, but I rather enjoy it!
