Comments: Sweetish, but pleasantly farmy, soft and, despite its low acidity, balanced cider.
imdownthepub (4312), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England May 20, 2007 Barrel at Stratford upon avon beer fest ’07. Clear gold with a bubbly head. Lovely looking farmhouse cider for a change, green apples with an acidic bite, balanced by enough sweetness. Ungstrup (11930), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 18, 2007 Barrel at GBBF 2006. A hazy light yellow cider with no head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of apples and wood. The flavor is like apple juice and only with a slight acidity, and a dry end. Boring. Fin (2570), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Nov 6, 2006 Bottle, my mum picked this up for me, and it formed part of an early, very alcohol dominated birthday present. Pours a wonderful warm golden colour, with a nice appley nose, carbonation wasn’t too bad at all so came across very well good soft appley taste a bit on the sweeter side of medium but I didn’t have a problem with that. My bottle was called Knights Malvern Gold Medium Reserve (hope that I’ve put it in the right place) harrisoni (5605), Ashford, Kent, England Aug 22, 2006 Barrel at GBBF 2006. Yellow/gold slightly hazy with no head. It’s a cider. Slightly farty sour cider aroma. Some apple juice in the mouth. Not too bad but it was getting to the end of Thursday and I was getting a bit blurry.
