Draught at the brewpub. Hazy deep golden, small head. Fruity yeasty nose with some banana. Sweet and sweaty, lightly carbonated. Fruity and quite vague. Reasonable weizen, but no more.

(bottle) Cloudy deep orange coloured effervescent hue with a huge, off-white foamy head. Yeasty, quite sourish citrus-fruity and light-sweet wheaty nose with light notes of banana Sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied with a fizzy carbonation. Wheat-malty and moderately fruity (banana, ripe citrus) with a distinctive yeasty bitterness; moderately dry, yeasty-, slightly hop-bitter and slightly tart finish with moderate spicy accents. Drinkable but it also lacks a bit balance (10.03.08).

Bottled (BB 02/2006)
Copper-orangy brown, a bit hazy after adding some yeast, small white head. Very yeasty aroma, crisp, lemony-fruity esters, underlying banana notes. Dry, bitterish wheat flavors, maybe some unfermented sugars mixed in. Raw, unbalanced even a bit smokey/roasted. Interesting but not so drinkable.
