Draught at Cruzat, BsAs. A very full, sticky and sweet beer, far too sweet for me, with sticky maltiness, loads of toffeeness, a vague hint of dryness in the finish although swamped by more and more sweet toffee. Not for me, thanks...

May 24, 2008 on tap-pours a thin white head and gold color. Aroma is sugary-light/medium malt, perfumy, some sharpness. Taste is sugary-light/medium malt, perfumy, some sharpness, alcohol. Medium body.

Jan 26, 2007 Updated: Jan 29, 2007<i>Draught at Cruzat Beer House, Buenos Aires. </i> Hazy golden, small head. Vinous toffeish nose. Sweet and full bodied with plenty of toffeeish malt. There’s apricots, alcohol and orange, but malt dominates. Fairly typical for Argentinian barley wines, as it’s dominated by caramelly malt, hops are scarcely seen guests and the alcohol stays in the background of the malt.
