Tranquillity (1120), Espoo, Finland Dec 6, 2008 Can. Sweet honey, yeast aroma. Piss-yellow body, almost no head. Tste like 20% Belgian light ale and 80% Swedish lager. A very unpleasant combination if you ask me. SilkTork (3959), Rochester, Kent, England Sep 11, 2008 500ml bottle called Kobanyai Világos Sör at 5.2%, but this seems the nearest. Part of the Shropshire haul - vintage 1995. Label has dramatic picture of four horses pulling what could be a plough, a chariot or a cart of beer barrels. Beer has little carbonation left. Few hops, so little off flavours. Quite clean and modest. Fairly neutral, though leaning toward sweet. Thin, with some fruit notes and some metallic notes, and some sweetness. A drinkable and inoffensive beer of no character or interest. TBone (5261), Pori, Finland Jul 21, 2008 Can from Tesco, Budapest (BB 12/2008)
Pale yellow color, small white head. Light rubbery and grainy aroma. Fizzy. Mostly tasteless. Only some light grainy flavors and some sweetness, perhaps from corn. Those faint flavors fade away quickly. Theis (2553), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 9, 2008 Can (50cl) on train from Budapest to Sarajevo - we are in Bosnia now. Clear yellow - white head. White bread, fruity, sweetness, corn, egg, aluminium, light hoppy. OK.
