Beerman6686 (874), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 20, 2008 POured a very pale clear yellow color with a white head. Aroma was really bland, but with hints of corn and adjuncts. Flavor was a bit grassy, corn and water. Rciesla (1580), Brick City, New Jersey, USA Dec 15, 2008 Wow the guy before me sums it up perfectly haha. Seriously for 8 bucks for 24 cans who could complain. A pale bodied beer that tastes metallic, corny, and has a light grassy aroma. puboflyons (408), New Hampshire, USA Nov 21, 2008 From the 12 fl. oz. can marked 2498 R 16:54. Not as cheap as it used to be. I paid $4.49 for the six pack. I remember paying something like $1.99 a six pack ten years ago for this infamous brand. Pours clear yellow with a significant supply of puffy, white head. Aroma of weak hops, malts, and corn. Slightly heavier mouthfeel than watered down. Thin hop and and vaguely malted flavor. It wasn’t offensive. I was more impressed than I expected. mmmbeer (608), Austin, Texas, USA Oct 3, 2008 12 oz. can in trade for RCL- thanks! Served in shaker- poured transparent rail thin yellow with a golden tint, low carbonation, half finger tried to lace but was too bubbly and quickly dissapated. Very faint aromas of grass, dishwater, and metal after hitting it with a cutting torch- yummy! Hits the mouth with a thin body, alot of grass, corn, and wheat on the tongue- and that’s not a good thing in this case, very watery throughout, some sweetness on the end but it goes away on command. Gee, uh, thanks!!! elihapa (464), Hawaii, USA Sep 24, 2008 Koch’s Golden Anniversary Beer 9/24/08 (poured from ugly monochrome gold can. Pours neon yellow with a wispy white head. Aroma is the thinnest, most metallic I have ever had the misfortune of sniffing with purpose. Flavor is initially faint. After waiting for what seemed like eternity, still nothing revealed itself. Amazing; not sweet, not salty, not grassy, not nothing. Finish is particularly offensive however. I tasted paint thinner, weeds, baking soda, and fucking shit.
