The store we went to was trying to get rid of all the GA so we got a half barrel for $25. This is definitely the frat boy/college kid broke-ass brew of choice. If you find it, appreciate that you are looking at one of the finest and cheapest bad beers in the country. JFGrind (1352), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA

The selling point is it’s extremely low price ($11 for 16 ounce returnables or $8 a case cans). This was one of our choices for beer in college, and now times when I’m flat ass broke. I don’t mind having a Gah every once in a while. I’ve even made Black & Tans with Gah and DFH World Wide Stout (23%). I bet no one else can say that. PorterPounder (3138), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Typical cheap beer - slight metallic taste - slightly skunky aroma. Decent golden color. Quenches the thirst - has a bit of maltiness as it dribbles down the throat. Thanks to Aurelius for the addition to my list. Aurelius (2648), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Dec 14, 2002 Updated: Apr 4, 2005There were 3 things that were remarkable about this beer. #1 was the incredibly bad can, which looked like some kind of prop for Archie Bunker. Very pale beer. #2) The pithy head, no doubt propped up by copious quantities of corn starch, also looks like something out of casting central. #3) Was the GABF logo. I’m driving through Buffalo NY, stop for a quick search in a grocery store, and I see $2.99/6 beer with the GABF medallion. That made it a must buy. Unfortunatley, it’s corn-y, watery and lousy. Bought at upstate NY grocery store on the way back down from Toronto. Perdue46 (60), USA

Definitely not the greatest beer. But still high overall due to the low price. CapFlu (3483), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
