| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 14, 2002 Not as bad as I expected, but nothing out of the ordinary either. Big artificial-looking head that evaporates very quickly; decent golden color (with a name like that..); fairly big nose, corn-sweet and simple. Flavor isn’t so sweet, but not much beyond generic American Standard territory either; low-to-medium body. Tasty in a hotel room watching crappy TV; otherwise insignificant. | 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | May 5, 2006 Bottle (40oz). Shared with blankboy, GregClow, jerc and Tupalev - blankboy’s bottle. Big honking screw-top glass bottle full of cheap golden shite - can’t wait!! Poured oily-looking flat yellow with a small bright white fluffy head. Aroma of vegetal creamed corn and really nasty liquid invert sugar - seriously ugly stuff. Taste - well, nothing, really - reminded us of stagnant pond water with some dead leaves and a few rusty packets of Sweet’nLo in it, but way less offensive than that methanic aroma. This stuff is just about as thin and useless all-around as you’d expect. jerc (3954), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Grainy not quite skunked dilute cereal aroma. Dry dilute stringen grain flavour. Thin watery palate. More bland than it is offensive. Rciesla (3790), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

Seriously for 8 bucks for 24 cans who could complain. A pale bodied beer that tastes metallic, corny, and has a light grassy aroma. ClarkVV (3578), Allston, Massachusetts, USA

Stale aroma of cheap liquor, and an artificial corn syrup sweetness. No head, yellow-toned color. Flavor is boldly adjunct ridden, with a stale malt flavor of massive cereal grain use. Body is light, fizzy, unnatural. Stale aftertaste. CapFlu (3491), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
