Aroma is spiced and phenolic, very unusual. Somewhat herbal. Light malty and slight roasted flavoured. Bitter flavoured too. Ends with a mild caramel malty note and slowly building bitterness. Overall pleasent, yet strange aroma and classic US Octoberfest version in flavour.
