It’s roasty, medium sweet, moderately bitter and finishes with a nice coffee flavor. The nose is roasty with coffee notes. Full-bodied on the palate, sweet and bitter, showing nice balance. Dark-brown and opaque except at the very edges. The tan head settles to a wide ring. Nothing crazy or over the top with the beer, it’s just well-made and a joy to drink.
