Incipit is a complex burst of spicy florals. Mouthfeel is oily in the best sense. Has a gentle bitterness that doesn’t really become noticeable until the finish... (just like sex!). tlind2 (604), Helsinki, Finland

The aroma brings chocolate to mind. Smooth mouthfeel. The taste is a complex combination of chocolate, roasted coffee beans and a touch of smoke. An astounding beer, considering it comes from a major producer of run-of-the-mill lager liinis (721), Helsinki, Finland

Aroma of molasses, caramel, and coffee, Taste of caramel and coffee slides into a lasting bitter finish. Med mouthfeel. Very nice porter. Mouthfeel could be thicker. That’s my only complaint. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 27, 2008 Bottle thanks to DragonStout. Poured a thick brown color with ruby highlights and a thin tan head that receded to a ring. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, and light fruit. Lightly sweet malt entry leads into a relatively bland, chalky chocolate flavor with a bit of fruitiness on the finish. Smooth, but somewhat watery. Not really bad, just pretty plain. Thanks Brian. jcr (1172), Jasper, Indiana, USA

The aroma is full with roasted malt, chocolate and caramel with hints of creamed coffee and caramel and a touch of smoke. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. The finish is moderately to heavily bitter with a bit of sweetness. Fairly long lasting. Medium body and lively carbonation. The texture is between watery and creamy — a nice balance. Well constructed. LouieDog40oz (28), Germantown, Maryland, USA
