Koff Red Lager

Bottled. An orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of berries, while the flavor is sweet with light notes of malt and a light metallic hop note. The body is thin.

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, fully golden with a white head. Weak aroma of caramel. Thin body with a light, roasted malt note and a cardboardish edge. Almost no bitterness. Thin indeed. Courtesy of tbone_. 160806

Bottled. Pale amber, average head. Fruity lightly flowery aroma. Sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Slight bitterness in the finish. Does not offer anything flavourwise, but with a less mellow, cloying malt profile than the regular macro lagers it’s definitely a step up.

Bottled. Deep golden colour, mediumsized foamy head, some lace. Malty sweet aroma. Sweet caramelly malt in flavour, but still very watery.

Bottle. Clear golden coloured with a white head. Aroma of malts, grain and fruits. Flavour of malts, fruits, corn and hops.

Bottled (BB 05/2006)
Dark honey golden color, small white mostly vanishing head, some lace. Malty, slighlty sweet aroma. Light-bodied with crisp carbonation. Sweetish caramelly malty flavor. Not harsh like normal Koff III, but mostly tasteless and harmless lager in the fancy bottle.

Bottle. Dark golden colour with a medium white head. Malty, light fruity aroma and a sweet malty taste. Medium body with a sweet finish.

(Bottled, BBE 04/2006) Deep golden/copper color with a medium, foamy head. Some quickly vanishing, slightly stuffy hoppiness in the aroma, but mostly just sweetish caramel and vegetables. Cooked vegetables and caramel dominate the aroma, along with light maltiness and faint and earthy, underlying bitterness. Light-bodied, almost watery, sweetish palate with fizzy carbonation. A cheap, watery and caramely, artificial brew. Another one from Koff with a fancy package and nothing inside. Some similarity to the infamous Nokian Punikki.
