icky icky icky... I dont’ think i’m going to go into any more detail.. I tasted it and the taste was offensive. THe aroma was nearly non existant and it looked like just about every other indian beer I’ve seen.

Enjoying 2004 bottle that was 98 cents at beers of the world with kevin rezai..he doesnt have a rate beer name so we will refer to him as Kevbert. Wow the first thing I realize is that this beer really isnt that bad. No aroma, but the flavor is decently smooth with slight honey and yeast flavors. I can’t really say that this is jewel of Indian Beer but not too bad. Just realized that this beer has alittle chalkiness to it at the finish..alittle put off by this but oh well. Sorry Bucknaked but I will split another one with you.

[bottle] Pours a pale golden yellow with decent carbonation and nearly no head. Looks like your ordinary, run of the mill American Standard. Has a bitter nose with a slightly sweet undertone to it. An interesting initial taste to it. Slightly sweet and crisp with a fruity followup. Very thin-bodied and easy to drink.

Bottle. Pours golden yellow with light carbonation and no head to speak of. Aroma is slight honey, sulfury slight diacetyl. Taste is very light and slightly unpleasant. Some fruitiness that is out of style. Had this the month of "best before" so my sample wasn't a years old leftover.

Bottled. Golden colour. Raspberries, rice and fresh paint in the nose. Sweet and fruity. Medium bodied, low bitterness. Unclean.

TERRIBLE- I would imagine that my bottle had traveled great distances to meet me, but it should have stayed at home. Poured with little head- liquid colored like dehydrated urine. Off balanced metallic malt profile that was "silvery" on the way down. Absolutely no body to back it up. Yuck!

Thick eggshell head sat atop this straw colored beer. The aroma was strong, of sweet, almost sugary, malts. I could smell it from 2 feet away. The flavor left a lot to be desired....very boring maltiness. It turned out to be a rather watery beer with little to no hop character whatsoever....about what I expected. i am always afraid of beers that have sparkling blue labels like this one or Labatts....dont know why.

A crisp, sweet and bready beer with decent drinkability. I wouldn’t mind having another and think this was even better than India’s Golden Eagle beer and likely the best Indian brew I’ve had.
