Sleeper (76), Washington, USA Aug 3, 2008 This is my favorite commercial lager. It’s nothing fancy but I’ve tied many Canadian memories to the beer. Like others have said this is a simple, clean beer.
Skyview (3143), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Nov 30, 2008 Last beer sampled during Swig-a-Swill Guzzler in St Paul, MN. From a 12-oz bottle pours a clear golden pale brew with a thin white head that quickly dissipates to a thin white ring. Aroma of golden grain malt, corn, and grassy hops. Taste is light bodied, some carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt, corn and grassy hops. Finish is very watery and then a clean aftertaste. hobbersr (61), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada Nov 29, 2008 Pours a pale straw yellow out of can with a medium sized head that runs away very quickly. Aroma is of a sour mash corn, grain, grass, something musty... possibly cardboard, crappy smelling. Tastes of sour corn, cardboard, grass, and soap. Bla! Bad mouthfeel and bad aftertaste. Who drinks this garbage? scooterbub (259), Lander, Wyoming, USA Nov 28, 2008 Bottle. Pours golden yellow with a decent white head. Taste is of malt and is on the sweet side. Aroma is much the same. I like this beer as it is pretty satisfying and refreshing. Well worth buying every now and then. andreic (22), Australia Oct 30, 2008 Pale, yellow, clear. Not much aroma or flavour. Slightly sweet. Very light body. Pretty ordinary. Sandman2222 (42), Florida, USA Oct 4, 2008 For being a mass produced cheap beer, it’s not too bad. I would drink it if on special somewhere.
