faroeviking (4713), The Autonomous Beer Republic,, Faroe Islands Aug 12, 2008 Botella. Unclear amber brown colour with a nice big creamy beige good lacing head leaving a good lacing. Aroma of toasted malt and caramel witha little chocolate and mild smoke. Good mouthfeel. The flavour has plenty of toasted caramel, though not so sweet, along with toasted malt, a pleasant bitterness and slight chocolate. Soft dry and bitter finish. The very best of the Kolding Bryghus beers I have tasted..... so far.
Maria (4973), Thisted, Denmark Dec 16, 2007 It’s a murky, dark brown beer with an Ok head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel and a tart citrus, and all of it is found in the flavour too. It’s far from pleasant, but at least it isn’t infected. I look forward to tasting these beers from cask. 2266 Skinnyviking (3024), Copenhagen, Denmark Jun 19, 2007 Bottle.
